Virginia Ann Newbill, 48, of Newport News, VA, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. She was from Newport News and Smithfield, Virginia. Virginia was married to Michael Newbill and was a wonderful wife, a caring mother, and loved being a grandmother!
Gone too soon but left to cherish her memory are her husband of 20 years; parents, John and Joanne Stickles; brother, John Stickles Jr.; in-laws, Edward Newbill and Jo Ann Mazzarese; sister-in-law, Stephanie Newbill; daughters Kristin Cashman, Kayla Stickles, and April Hanson; grandchildren Luke Barrett, Maci Barrett, and Kamri Carter; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was loved by her family and friends! She will be missed immensely!

To the one that makes sure everyone knows “that’s my KK”. You took a piece of my heart when you left. Losing a mother or a parent in general is not easy…I’ll make sure Kamri knows who you are as she’s getting older. As you enter them heaven gates, please watch, guide, and protect me and your granddaughter. I know you’re super excited and happy again, tell everyone I said hi. I am so very sorry about the passing of Virginia. Although I did not know Virginia, I can only imagine how horrible this has been for all of you. I have been praying for you and will continue to pray that God comforts you and gives you peace.

I can’t believe you are really gone gini you were my favorite cousin we had are ups and downs but we still called sometimes and text sometimes I miss you so much when my mom passed away you stop talking to me and your mom but sometimes you would text or call to check on me the last time I talk to you was dec 4 2024 when I found out you passed away i fell to the ground i didn’t want to believe it i still can’t believe you are really gone i found out by my brother Robert he said Kayla message him on fb and told him you are young you were only 48 bout to be 49 April 23 I love you and miss you so much rip 🙏 💔 🫶👼⭐️
