Telisa D. Holcomb

Telisa D. Holcomb, 66, a native of Gloucester and Newport News, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on June 19, 2025. She was the loving daughter of the late Fred and Norma Worley. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Robert F. Terrill, Jr., and sons, Robert F. Terrill, III, and Jonathan R. Terrill.

Telisa loved the thrill of roller coasters and enjoyed being at Busch Gardens, and this led her to work there and create lasting friendships and memories. Telisa was always crafting something, such as scrapbooks, flowers for her parents’ graves, or her latest and favorite, Chalk Couture. She was always getting into something with her dog Zack by her side. Along with Zack, she had Sally, her potbelly pig, Mork & Mindy, the goats, and Polly, the cat, an animal lover, until the end. When her health would allow her and her husband by her side, she would attend Victory Baptist Church in Hampton.

Left to cherish her loving memory are her beloved husband of 36 years, Glen Holcomb, son Jason Terrill (Patricia), daughter-in-law Mandy Williams; grandchildren Susan Terrill, Dylan Terrill, and Cole Terrill; brothers Brad Worley (Tricia), Fred Worley, Patricia Lockhart; Mary Justice, and a number of nieces and nephews and other extended family.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 29th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Boulevard, Newport News, Virginia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 30th, at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

After the service on Monday, the family will welcome family and friends to their home, 10746 Settlers Landing, Gloucester, VA 23061.

So sorry Glen and family. Telisa was an awesome individual who loved people and animals. I will never forget her. It was so fun doing the chalk art with her and watching her livestreams on Facebook. Telisa will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. Lean on the Lord for strength. That’s what Telisa, whomever she may be to you, would want you to do.
