Sheila Jones Franceschi, 73, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025. She was a native of Virginia and was a Hampton resident. When asked about her occupation, she would reply “She was happily retired.”
Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Franceschi, daughter, Jennifer Franceschi, and son, Todd Franceschi.
She is survived by her son Michael Franceschi (Melody Seys) of Gloucester; aunts and uncles, Antoinette Durick, Susan Francesch (Gary), and Eugene and Claudia Franceschi; nieces and nephews, Jason and Kathy Franceschi, Len and Cathy Durick, Joe Durick, Patty Durick-Scott, Lewis and Julie Bloom Durick and Eugene and Michele Durick.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church (Liberty Live), 1021 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA 23666.
Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home.
