Rose Lucido Hill, 85, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at her home in Hampton. She was a lifelong resident of Hampton and was a homemaker. Rose also served as a bookkeeper for Ross for 14 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond C. Hill Sr.; parents, Lucille Love Lucido and Marcellus Mitchel Lucido; and siblings Carl Lucido, Barbara Antinori, and Mitchel Lucido. She is survived by her daughter, Franci Tucci (Mark); son, Edmond C. Hill Jr. (Buddy) (Judy);
grandchildren, Jessica Eckstrom, Crystal Stehman, Kacie Hill, and Katie Wagner; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Eckstrom, Juniper Stehman, Theo Collins, Logan Collins, and Diana Wagner; sisters, Pat Stevens and Cornelia Hughes; and brothers, Donnie Lucido and Bobby Lucido.
Rose’s legacy of hard work, love, and compassion lives on in those blessed to know her. She will surely be missed by everyone who knew her.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Peninsula Memorial Park. After the service, a gathering for friends and family will be held at Jerry Hill’s home.
