Robert “Rob” Coleman, born on December 2, 1962, in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, passed away peacefully in his home in Newport News, Virginia, on August 1, 2026.
At the age of 63, Robert left behind a legacy of dedication, creativity, and love that will be cherished by all who knew him. Robert devoted four decades of his life to his family business, European Motors Inc., where he served as a manager and technician alongside his father. His work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Rob was known for his artistic talents and passions. He found joy in tattooing, drawing, creating, and listening to 80’s rock music—a soundtrack that undoubtedly accompanied many of his creative endeavors.
Robert is survived by his partner of 30 years, Robin Lee Williams “Bin”; his daughter, Bianka Lee-Ann Masters; his son-in-law, Timothy Ramon Irving Masters; and his stepdaughters, Carrie Lynn Williams and Melissa Ann Williams. He also leaves behind his beloved mother, Bianka Coleman; his sister, Neli Coleman; and many beloved family members in Slovenia.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Franko Coleman; uncle, David Coleman; and beloved best friend, Kozmo.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Rob often described him as the best Father, Son, Partner, Brother, and Friend. As many would say, they don’t make them like him anymore. May Robert’s memory bring comfort to those who mourn him and inspire all who remember him.
