I met Nancy many years ago when we both volunteered at Contact Peninsula.
She has been one of my dearest friends and I will miss her and our lengthy phone chats. Nancy was an amazing person in so ways and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will always live in my heart. My love and sympathy goes out to Leah and Jesi and Dale and Elise.
Nancy has been one of my dearest friends since volunteering together at CONTACT Peninsula. Since her move to Kentucky, we have maintained our friendship with long extended phone chats, which I will miss. Nancy was a great listener, a great secret keeper, and had an unbelievable memory for details. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Nancy has been a blessing in my life and she lives on in my heart. Love and prayers for Leah, Dale, and the grandchildren.
That photo is with Seneca, her beloved first guide dog. I was honored by her to be his retirement caregiver for the short time he lived after he left her service. I know they are together again, exploring and spreading love everywhere. Nancy was a dear friend of my Mom’s, and one of my favorite people as I grew up. Her sense of humor, her courage, her intelligence were guideposts to me – that a woman with such challenges could still give, grow and laugh, laugh, laugh. Now she, Mom and Judy B will be gathered around the table with cups of coffee and open hearts.
