Judith Curry Robertson

Judith Curry Robertson, 80, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at her home in Carrollton. She was the eldest daughter of the late Ernest Chalmers Curry and Phyllis Moring Curry. She is predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Frank S. Robertson, and by her sister, Susanne Curry McBride.

Judy grew up in Richmond and graduated from Douglas Freeman High School in 1963. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts from VCU in 1968. Judy’s talent and creativity allowed her to have a long and successful career as an interior designer. For many years, she and Frank owned and operated a thriving office furniture and design company in Norfolk. They retired to Smithfield, where they built their dream home in Cypress Creek and resided there for over 20 years. Together, they enjoyed gardening, entertaining, and home life with their two beloved poodles. Judy was also a skilled crafter who created beautiful floral arrangements, decorative items, and artwork. A warm and gracious Southern lady, Judy will be missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by one niece, several cousins, and other extended family. A private committal service will be held at Peninsula Memorial Park. In memory of Judy, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
