I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Jane. She was one of the many great driver education instructors that used to be with Newport News Public Schools. She was one of the gang. Everyone loved her. My condolences to her family.
I am so sad to read this today, I just had lunch with her 3 weeks ago, Jane and I grew up together and she always had a smile and good laughs with you. Jane will truely be missed by many. Prayer for the family to find good memories in the days to come.
I cannot begin to tell you how much Jane and her mother, Doris meant to me when we met at James River Convelescent. They were with highlight of my days visiting there. They were always welcoming and friendly. They gave me much encouragement. Jane and I became traveling buddies and occassionally would take our mothers along with us. Jane was a dedicated friend, daughter, sister and aunt. Ann, I know this is a terrible loss to you as Jane was not just your sister but your best friend also. I am so thankful for all the time I have spent with your family. The Prestons will always be special in my heart.
So sorry to hear this. Jane was a dear soul who cared deeply about her church and church family. We will miss her dearly and pray to the Lord to rest her gentle soul.
I was so surprised to hear about Jane. She lived across the street from me growing up and I remember her and her family being a big part of my childhood years. The Prestons were always great neighbors. My sympathies to her family and friends during this difficult time.

This was a total shock to me. Janie and I shared an office for 15 years but we knew each other a lot longer. She was good people. We had some fun times together. I will truly miss her. RIP my friend and condolences to the family.

Sorry to hear about Jane. She was my former colleague at Warwick High School. Jane was always smiling and had a great sense of humor. Also, she was dedicated to her students.
