Gary was loud and obnoxious. He was the life of the party. I loved every moment I was around Gary. Will never forget how he arrived at Dani and Jonnys games. Always hooting and hollering from the parking lot to the bleachers.

We are deeply saddened by Gary’s passing. He was a wonderful coach to our daughter and a dear friend to us. We will always cherish the memories we shared with Patty and Gary on and off the softball field. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Davis family.

~I know he’s up there singing in heaven, Leading the choir with a wink and a grin, Finding the notes that he lost on the earth, Where the song of his soul can truly begin.
He lived life in measures, in rhythm and rhyme, With a melody tucked in the palm of his hand; He’d sing through the shadows and whistle through time, his voice was like magic and would make people smile and sing all the time.
The silence he left is a heavy, strange chord, A rest in the middle of life’s busy score, But we know that he’s found what he always adored: A stage with no ending, a wide-open door.
So when the wind whistles a tune through the trees, Or a meadowlark mirrors a song that you know, Just lean in and listen—he’s there in the breeze, Still singing those songs to you.~
I will miss him singing too me when he’d walk in the door, the guess the song challenges in the isles, and our talks at the counter. He truly will be missed.

It’s not every day that you meet somebody that you build an instant friendship with! I met Gary through work as the Account Exec for East Lake Builders and Two Rivers Built at QXO (Beacon Building Products). Gary and I worked together often on their projects! He was that guy that you meet and feel like you’ve known your whole life. We quickly became friends outside of work and to know him was to love him! We had some great times and I’m going to miss that! He was a good man who would do anything for anyone! My sincerest sympthy to all of his family and friends! Until we meet again, rest in peace brother!
