Deloris Maria Siron passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. She had lived in Newport News for 51 years.
Deloris was preceded in death by her only son, Michael Siron-Powell, father, Garrett “Bobby” Siron, and brother, Dean Siron. She is survived by her companion, Clyde “Bubba” Powell; mother, Maria Siron; sister, Debra Dement; niece, Cheri Bohlinger; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 10, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home. A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Leah McGlynn, will be held on Friday, April 11, at 11:00 a.m. at Peninsula Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made in Deloris’ name to the Alzheimer’s Association (https://donorservices.alz.org/).
