Brenda L. Luther, 83, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Brenda was a graduate of Warwick High School, class of 61. She retired from the civil service at the Naval Safety Center.
Brenda was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease over 25 years ago and fought hard each and every day, and she led her life with courage and strength until the very end.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Luther, Jr.
She is survived by her two sons, Ed Luther and wife Norma, and Mark Luther and wife Anna; 3 grandchildren, Jessica, Jake, and Ridge Luther; 3 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Victoria, and Elias; siblings Betty Castle and John Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Peninsula Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 5 th, beginning at 1:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. The burial will be in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
