Brandon Arnold Jordan, 42, of Hampton, Virginia, passed away on August 28, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a love that will remain with his family and friends forever.
Brandon was born on November 27, 1983. He was a graduate of Bethel High School and went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in art history from Christopher Newport University.
Brandon dedicated his professional life to the field of physical science. He began his career at Newport News Shipbuilding as a Radiological Controls Technician and continued in the same field at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, where he began working in 2018. He was proud to be a part of the RadCon family and loved the career he built through his knowledge, dedication, and commitment.
Outside of his career, Brandon had a passion for nostalgia, music, sneakers, and art. His love of music grew into an obsession that only he could understand and others could admire. His love for sneakers went beyond simply having a great pair; he appreciated the style, history, and individuality behind them. He found joy in the simple excitement of thrifting—searching for unique and unexpected treasures that took him back to a specific place and time. He had an eye for things that were different, creative, and full of character, much like himself. What made his love of thrifting even more special was that his discoveries often became priceless gifts for the people he loved. He found joy not only in finding something rare or meaningful, but in knowing that something he discovered could bring happiness to someone else. Whether it was a CD, a rare pair of sneakers, a piece of artwork, or a nostalgic treasure, Brandon had a special way of turning the things he loved into lasting memories for others.
Brandon’s most cherished title was Father. Being a father was the role he treasured most, and becoming a dad to Miles changed his life forever. Miles was the fire that burned within Brandon’s soul—the source of a love so deep and unconditional that words could hardly capture it. He loved Miles with every part of his being. The mere thought of his son could bring a tear to his eye, while simply looking at Miles could light up his entire face with a smile. To Brandon, being Miles’ father was one of life’s greatest blessings, and the love he shared with his son will forever remain a beautiful part of his legacy.
Above all, Brandon was a beloved son, father, life partner, brother, uncle, and friend. He treasured the people closest to him and leaves behind memories that will be carried forward by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Brandon is survived by his son, Miles; his life partner, Ashley Stanley; Carson Meidinger; furbaby of 11 years, Robo; his parents, Bobby and Bonnie Jordan; older brother, Bryce Jordan (Dannielle Dodson); identical twin brother Brian Jordan (Nycki); niece, Zoey; nephew, Slader and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Brandon’s passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him. His life was far too short, but the love he gave, the memories he created, and the pieces of himself he left behind will remain forever.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 5, at 10:00 a.m. at Liberty Live Baptist Church, with a service following at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be held at Peninsula Memorial Park.

It’s just heartbreaking….. Brandon was truly a wonderful person. He brought joy to whomever he came in contact with. I remember a time when my car broke down. My son Phillip was with me. Phillip gave him a call and without hesitation , he came to help out. That was Brandon. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. I pray that the Lord wraps his arms around all who are grieving, to give them strength in this painful time.
