My deepest condolences to the Micali family. I met Peter when I was just a kid in Astoria, Queens and then later in life. I had the privilege to work for him in Bayside, Queens. I have never met a human being that had so much ambition, work ethic and drive as Peter. Throughout the years working for him he brought out the ambition in me and taught me a lot about life, business and true friendship. He was always kind and was quick to help me out when I needed it. I’ll never forget the phone call I got back in 1995 from Pete inviting me to go with him to the Super Bowl in Miami. That memory will stay with me for the rest of my life due to his generosity. May God Bless him. Rest In Peace. Until we meet again.

The York County / City of Williamsburg / City of Poquoson / James City County Professional Fire Fighters, Paramedics and 911 Dispatchers send our deepest condolences to the Micali Family. Peter was a generous supporter of this area’s First Responders. He was always asking “What can I do for Your Guys?”….. As President (Don Dinse) of this Professional Organization. I always enjoyed sharing our stories about growing up Italian in the north. The Food, Family and Things to do…While i enjoyed his food, i equally enjoyed our conversations. He will be sorely missed by me, my family, our members and their family members as well. Rest in Peace Piason…..The Family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Peter was family. When I was going through a low point in my in my early years as a kid starting out, he gave me a job to put some money in my pocket and help keep me afloat til’ I got a better job leading up to the career I have now as an Automotive tech. I’ve worked on his Windstar and other vehicles and he was always fair and insisted on giving me a couple slices of my favorite pizza the Bronx Bomber @ Bellisimo in Williamsburg off Mooretown Rd. He will never be forgotten and certainly always remembered as the good hearted, Army Veteran Italian Uncle I knew him as. May you be in Heaven a full half-hour before the devil knows you’re dead! Salute!
