Patricia ‘Patsy’ Anne Zuskin Charles
Patricia ‘Patsy’ Anne Zuskin Charles, born in Baltimore, MD, on August 22, 1934, and raised in Hampton, VA, passed on May 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Genevieve Zuskin; siblings, Jack, Bob, and Eugene Zuskin; and husband, Herbert Nelson Charles, Sr.
Patsy is survived by sons Herb Charles and Lee (Ellen) Charles; daughter Cindy (Ian) Stanaway; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was blessed with many friends and spent most of her life in Newport News, VA, where she was very active in the Hampton and Williamsburg Seventh-day Adventist Churches.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Williamsburg Seventh-day Adventist Church at adventistgiving.org.
A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Peninsula Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at noon. Interment will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park.

Patsy was a sweet caring lady. One of the first people I met when we came to church to visit. She was a true example of a Godly woman. We would pick her up on Sabbath after Herbie passed,always had a smile and thankful words. A blessing to all who knew her ❤️🙏
