Nina Marie Radford
Nina Marie Radford, 85, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. She had been a resident of Hampton, Virginia, for 55 years. Nina worked for Hampton Roads Eye Associates for 20 years and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lila Garrett; her husband, Leroy Radford; her sister, Pat Spry; and her sons, David Hackenberg and Mark Hackenberg.
Nina is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Larry Winfree; three daughters, Robin (Brad) Hancock, Angie (Paul) Modar, and Sherri (Tony) Woodward; two sons, Joey (Amy) Radford and Eric Von Heal; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at noon. A burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.

Nina worked and was friends with my mom Judy Roberts for several years. Nina was a great friend and when we would cone visit my Mom from PA we would visit Nina and enjoy her pool occasionally.
So sorry for your loss! Nina was an amazing person. My Grammy Judy and Nina were great friends. I always called her Grandma Nina as she always treated me so well when I visited and also when I worked with her and my Grammy at Hampton Roads Eye. She will truly be missed.
