Mary C. Kellum, 97, of Newport News, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 10, 2023, from her home in Newport News. She was a longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and loved her church family. Mary also loved traveling with her husband, later with her church family, and also with her children.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Fox and Sharon Dreyer (Phil); one son, Bill Kellum (JoAnne); six grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer, William, Timothy, Donny, and Will; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Peninsula Funeral Home, on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service taking place at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Hampton Veterans Memorial Gardens.
