Marie, my step-dad’s cousin, stayed in close contact with my Dad and Mama through the years. She was a very kind and thoughtful person. She and Charles would get together with Mama long after Daddy passed. She was well thought of by my parents and I have great respect for her also.

I loved Marie with many fond childhood memories going back to my early school days. I remember her then as a cute teenager with a ponytail. She would stop by our house to chat with my mom and we enjoyed her visits and family news. She loved to joke and laugh. Recently she and I would go out to lunch and spend the whole afternoon talking about family history and events. Marie was always so kind and caring to me. She loved my mom, her cousin, and our whole family. We will miss her very much.
