My heart was saddened by Linda’s passing. She was a perfectionist and was committed to whatever she was involved in. I have fond memories of Linda and her family when my parents, Rev. Al (& Frances) Johnson pastored the Church of the Nazarene in Victoria, VA, beginning when we girls were pre-teens. Rest in peace, Linda! Walt & family, may you feel God’s presence as he stands by you through the grieving process. Linda did not die, she went home like a shooting star.

Walt, David, and Jason I was saddened to learn of the loss of Linda. I can not thank you enough for the kindness you all showed to me when I was a young Army soldier far away from my family. Your willingness to include me in yours will always be a memory that I cherish. Linda was a second mother to me during those years. That were many years ago and I am not sure that you recall them with the clarity as I do as I am sure your hospitality touched so many. May God be with you all during this time of loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
