Leroy Freeman
Leroy Freeman, 88, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023. He was a resident of Newport News. Leroy worked as a Supervisor for Virginia Power for 25 years and was a member of the Warwick Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 25 years, Mildred E. Freeman; and daughter, Theresa Kirby.
Leroy is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Bonczyk, Dianne Servin, Robbin Garza, and Donna Jeanine Priest; stepson, Jerry Palmer; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday, May 12, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601.

Leroy was an awesome man who respected everyone he came in contact with, he had a heart of gold he will be missed by everyone who knew him!! Rest in peace my friend!! You are REJOICING with our Lord!!
