You may have seen him in one of his many costumes as “Jason” when the next Friday the 13th movie came out. His love for movie actors and their movies was not just a hobby, but a passion. His favorite movie actor must have been John Wayne and a close second of Elvis Presley.

After retirement, if you did not see Ed at the theater, you may have seen him delivering sandwiches to his NASA colleagues and other small businesses in the area. He loved to cook and loved people. Ed was an avid crossword puzzle worker and loved solitaire. Card games also were a hobby. His family loved to play cards. Throughout the years you could find Ed with his wife and other family members around a card table playing “Peanuts.”
Ed was a member of Deer Park Fellowship in Newport News for four years when he passed. In 1959, Ed became a Charter Member of Deer Park Baptist Church.
