On April 10, 2024, Edgar A. St. Martin, Jr., passed away peacefully at home at age 84. He served 26 years in the active Army.

Edgar was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Marion St. Martin; two brothers, Ronald and Roger; and his son, Ronald.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Claudette; three children, Rhonda (Bill), Robert, and Thomas (Hope); four grandchildren, Richard Sposito (Carla), Ryan Sposito (Kerry), Kayla Draddy (Tim), Thomas, Jr.; five great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Timothy, Zidane, Rosie; and one brother, Paul (Deborah).

A visitation will be held at the Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, and Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 4:00 -7:30 p.m. The burial will occur on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk with military honors at 10:00 a.m.
