Debra Link Lauffer

Debra Link Lauffer passed away peacefully on March 23 rd, 2024 after a long illness. She was born on December 11, 1951, to Royal and Mary Lou  Greer. Debbie grew up in Hampton and was a graduate of Kecoughtan High School. After high school, she worked  in the nursing profession as a RN in both the hospital and assisted care fields.

She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a brother as well as many other extended family members. Debbie enjoyed family time and events along with watching movies, social media, doing puzzles, and playing games. She was very talented at the art of crochet and knitting with many items considered to be family heirlooms.

Debbie is now reunited with her parents, her granddaughter, and her sister who left us way too soon. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were absolutely her pride and joy.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date where family and friends can gather to share memories.

Please consider a donation in her name to any charity that benefits cats, dogs or animals in general. That is where she would love attention to be focused.
