Arthur Alexander “Robin” Stewart

Arthur Alexander “Robin” Stewart passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Arthur H. Stewart and Lucy E. Stewart.  Robin was born on August 3, 1957, in Manchester, Jamaica, W.I., and emigrated with his parents and five siblings to Harford, CT. in 1971. He was a 1976 graduate of Thomas Snell Weaver High School. Robin attended Hampton University in  Virginia and earned a degree in Marketing Management. He received an M.S. in Project Management and an MBA in Information Technology and Project Management from Grantham University.

After 22 years in the Air Force, he retired honorably with the rank of Master Sergeant and was decorated with numerous medals. In his second act, Arthur held positions as contract administrator, specialist, and program manager within the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).

Arthur leaves behind his devoted wife, Ernestina Prempeh-Stewart; his loving children, Daniel, Alyssa, Ethan, and Jayden; siblings Earle, Grace, Blossom, Lorrice, and Lorna; and his beautiful grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Robin will be remembered as a loving, caring, and thoughtful man and will be greatly missed by those fortunate enough to have been in his orbit. 

Services to honor Robin will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2150 Cunningham Drive, Hampton, Virginia 23666.  He will be laid to rest with full military honors for having served his country honorably at the Albert G. Horton, Jr.  Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA 23434, at 2:00 p.m.  

A celebration of Life will be held at Paradise Ocean Club, 490 Fenwick Road, Fort Monroe, VA 23651 from 5:30  7:00 p.m.
