Sarah Ann Copeland, 90, of Newport News, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2022.  She was born in Suffolk, married Shelton Copeland, and traveled with him as a military wife.  Sarah was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Shelton G. Copeland, son Wayne Copeland, parents, Ella Mae and Harvey Russell, and four siblings.  She is survived by her daughters, Shelley Savage (Karl), Lisa Wallace (Richard), Deberah Hoffman (Dan), Sarah White (Bryon), and her son, Kimberly Copeland.

She was a warm and loving person and she will be missed by her family and friends.
