Ruth L. Galow, 96, passed away May 30, 2021. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Harry and Edith Hick.  Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gordon, son, Craig, daughter, Blythe (Greg), grandson, Logan, granddaughters, Abigail (Travers), Madeline (David), and great-grandson, Myles.

Ruth and Gordon have been married 73 years and together for 82. Early in her life, she was employed by First National Bank in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  After raising her children, she thoroughly enjoyed her employment in the Philosophy Department at the College of William and Mary. Ruth was a member of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. Her special joys were Garden Club, Bridge, her loving family, and traveling extensively with her husband, always making new friends and enjoying their company.
