Doris Powell Green, 88, of Hampton passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021.  She was a native of Watha, NC, and a resident of Hampton since 1952.  Doris worked for Coats & Clark for 33 years until its closing in 1985.  She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

Doris was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.  She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Arthur Green, daughter, Rachel Pittman (Brian), grandchildren, Marcus Pittman (Laura) and Michael Pittman (Keri), great-grandchild, Arthur Pittman, brother, Pete Powell and  sister, Robbie Beasley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
