Beverly “Jean” Williams, 86, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022. She was a native of Pennsylvania and resided in Newport News. Jean was a Supervisor in Civil Service and was a member of All Generations Church.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, James R. “Jim” Williams; brothers and sister, Peggy Yeager Long, Bruce Yeager, and Robert “Bob” Yeager. She is survived by her three sons, Michael Ray Williams (Richard), James Leslie Williams (Laurie) and Jeffrey Allen Williams (Heather); five grandchildren, Margaret Taylor Hatfield (Nate), Grace Caroline Johnson (Tyler), Tess Emily Williams, Conner James Williams (Sarah), and Haley Marie Steel (Anthony); two great-grandchildren, Evangeline Mary Lynn Williams and Ashby James Johnson and two more great-grandchildren on the way; and countless nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at All Generations Church, 28 Harpersville Road, Newport News, officiated by Pastor Duane Swanson. Interment will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
