Archie Mae Testerman of Newport News passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021.   Born on May 28, 1935, in Townsend, TN, she was the youngest of seven children.  Archie moved to Newport News in 1963 when her husband, Jim, was stationed at Langley Air Force Base and has lived here ever since.

She was retired from Riverside Wellness Center, where she taught cardiac aerobics for 18 years. Archie was an active member of Community Bible Church, where she taught Sunday School.

Archie had a gift for connecting with people and will be remembered as a caring and supportive listener.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James H. Testerman, and son, James H. Testerman, Jr.
Archie is survived by her son, Keith E. Testerman, and grandson, James Hunter Testerman

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Community Bible Church after a private burial.  Facial masks and social distancing will be required.
