Sergeant First Class Kirk Anthony Joseph was born in the Republic of Panama on January 29th, 1963. He began his Army career on November 25th, 1988, and served overseas in Germany and Hawaii. He also served four combat tours, three in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. SFC Joseph retired in 2014 after 25 years of faithful military service.
He was known for his love of soccer, salsa dancing, and teaching and coaching.
Kirk is survived by his wife, Maritza Joseph, daughter, Akyla Joseph, and son, Kaylan Joseph.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home.

We are truly blessed to have met Anthony and his beautiful wife Maritza through our love of salsa dancing. I will cherish those many dances we shared for the rest of my life. My deepest condolences to all who loved Kirk. I had the honor to get to know him as a great coach who loved his players and they loved him back equally. As the boys coach at Denbigh HS we got to see eachother every year a few times and I always respected him for his dedication to his teams and our shared passion for the sport of soccer.
