Lester “David” Lee II, 76, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, following a brief illness. David put his faith and trust in the Lord.
He was born to Lester and Eleanore Lee in San Diego, CA. David graduated from Blair High School Class of 1967 and attended Old Dominion University. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 368 for over 50 years. He was an avid scuba diver. David worked for and retired from Ball Metal Corporation. He was a dedicated employee for 31 years.
David is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Dolores Rowe “Dee” Lee; brother Terry Lee (Suzanne) of Laconia, New Hampshire; son, Adrian Lee Travers of Raleigh, North Carolina; step-daughter, Wendi Benton Straub (Jim) of Richmond, Virginia; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
