Jesse C. Evans, Jr., 65, of Hampton, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026. He was a native of Newport News and a Hampton resident for 43 years.
Jesse worked as a Service Manager at Kramer Tire for over 41 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse C. Evans, Sr., and Ruth Evans Brown, and his sister, Vivian E. Malone. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Tammy Evans; son, Jesse C. Evans III, and daughter-in-law Kelly Evans; two grandchildren, Noah C. Evans and Luke F. Evans; many nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Jesse’s legacy will continue through the strength he demonstrated, the lives he touched, and the cherished memories held by those who knew him. A private graveside service will be held at Peninsula Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601.
