Obituaries

Jayden Robert Freeman was called home on Saturday, June 28, 2025. During his three short months here on Earth, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. His life was a brief gift to us that will live on as his heart valves were donated and received by those who were in need. Jayden is the son of John Robert Freeman, Jr., and Shannan Mary-Louise Mitchell. Jayden is survived by a brother, Vincent Cain; grandparents, Wilfred Mitchell and John and Nicole Freeman; great-grandmother, Dionisia Lynch; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jayden was preceded in rest by his grandmother, Lonnie Marie Mithell; his great-grandmothers, Mary Mitchell and Janice Freeman, and a great-great-grandmother, Olga Morgan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home.
