Anita “Darlene” (Jackson) Perree, age 59, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at her home in Newport News, Virginia. She was a graduate of Menchville High School in Newport News. She worked at Pepsi Cola as a Quality Inspector for five years. She moved to Riverside, California, in 1991, where she obtained her Medical Assistant degree. She was employed at Beaver Medical Clinic as a phlebotomist.
Preceded in death by her husband, Terry Franklin Perree. She is survived by her children: Kristen Nicole Snow, Cody Ray Jackson, and Dillon Blake Perree; her father, Ray M. Jackson, and wife, Charlene; her mother, Rhetta Montesano; her brother, Ray M. Jackson Jr., and wife, Kathlene; and several nieces and nephews.
Darlene was a kind and loving soul who would do anything she could for you. She enjoyed people. She was very intelligent with a quick wit that would always make you laugh. She loved her family and did her best to make that her life. She loved crafting, music, and cooking. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 1, 2025, at Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd, Newport News. The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Ray Jackson.
