Susie Marie Williams, 92 gained her wings to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 7, 2022, after a hard fight to recover from a broken hip. She was born in Amherst, Virginia, and was the last of five siblings. She was a dedicated housewife and mother of five.

Susie was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Otto (Willie) Williams, and sons James E. Hogge, Jr. and Ricky G. Williams. She leaves behind her daughters, Wanda Sowers, Jane Saunders, and Janet Doyon as well as seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home to be followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park.
