Ruth Marianne Beckerle passed away peacefully on July 19, 2022, from complications of a stroke. She was born June 13, 1937, in Essen Germany. Ruth studied culinary arts and was well known as an exceptional chef. She spent her entire life providing her family with the most exciting dishes and pastries imaginable. The story goes that friends of her children would sneak baked treats she made for the Christmas holidays well before the holiday arrived.

Ruth spent the majority of her life with her husband and soul mate, Bill Beckerle who preceded her in 2000. They shared wonderful moments, including a car trip from coast to coast just to experience the United States.

She is survived by her son, Ron Brand, his wife Stacey, and their sons, Anthony Brand and Trey Steele, and her daughter, Denise Latulipe, her husband Garth, and their children Ryan, Chad, Kyle, and Danielle.

As a member of the German American Wife’s club, Ruth was blessed with an abundance of friends who were instrumental in providing her support during her toughest times.

The family will celebrate her life and accomplishments on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a burial service at Peninsula Memorial Park.
