Quincy Edward Daniels
Quincy Edward Daniels, loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, was born on April 15, 1982, in Orangeburg, SC, to Willie and Gloria J. Daniels. God called him from his earthly home on Sunday, April 14, 2024, in Gloucester, Virginia. He will always be known for his kindness and gentle, sweet spirit. He was devoted to his family and his faith, and most of all, he loved spending time with his children. In his spare time, he loved playing the guitar with friends. He lit up the room when he walked in.
At a young age, Quincy joined Beulah Baptist Church in Smokes, SC. He graduated from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in May of 2000 in Orangeburg, SC. Quincy was a fire suppression technician and worked with CINTAS as his last employer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Quincy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, the Honorable Woodrow and Mrs. Annie R. Hodges, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. Hubert and Mrs. Gladys Daniels. Quincy leaves to cherish his beautiful memories, his loving and devoted wife, Emily A. Daniels; his beautiful little children, Jasiah and Adrianna; his loving parents; his loyal and loving sister, Peggy (Mike) Goldson; his loving nephews, JaeQuan and Jilaun; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the service, Quincy will be laid to rest at Peninsula Memorial Park.
Please feel free to wear something blue in his honor, as blue was Quincy’s favorite color.

Life is an etch a sketch
Only in death can you effect life.
Fear can keep you alive,
But U can’t be afraid of that light.
When it’s your time to die,
You can’t change who’s next up in line.
