Peggy Ann Stamey, 79, went to meet her Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, after a battle with Pneumonia. She was born in Newport News, Virginia on May 31, 1943. Peggy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Thomas Whiteford Stamey; son Adam Arbogast (Letty); grandchildren, Jake and Abby Arbogast; sister, Jeanette Smith; brother, Billy Stancil (Pam); nephew, Jeffery Smith; nieces, Laura King (Randy) and Audrey Menez (Anthony); as well as many loving cousins.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service, on Friday, October 21 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home.  Her funeral service will follow the visitation.  Burial will be held at Peninsula Memorial Park.

There will be an early dinner celebration of her life at Angelo’s Steak & Pancake House located at 755 J Clyde Morris Blvd., Newport News, Virginia 23601.
