Louise Jacqueline “Jackie” Swan passed away on October 15, 2021 from complications of COVID-19, just one day before her 100th birthday. She was the daughter of the late Ronald and Louise Dickens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey H. Swan; son, Ronald H. Swan; and grandson, Paul O. Swan. She is survived by her son, Gregg M. Swan; daughter-in-law, Kim Swan; granddaughters, Crystal Phillips (Ben), Elizabeth Collison, and Aimee Ayers (John); grandson, Matthew Swan; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Mrs. Swan was a resident of Hampton for 40 years and lived in the Smithfield area since 1979. She was a member of Wythe Presbyterian Church in Hampton, an associate member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Suffolk, and a longtime member of the Red Hats and Chi-Alpha Society.

Due to the continued pandemic, a private graveside service will be held for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wythe Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity.
