Linda Faye Jones passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.  She was a native of South Carolina but had been a resident of Newport News for most of her life.  Linda was a retail manager and retired from Sam’s Club.

Linda loved her family dearly.  She loved music and dancing, and she loved her animals.  Linda had a “quirky” sense of humor that made you laugh. 

She is survived by her children, Victoria Helmick, Brian Jones, and Stephanie Willner; grandchildren, Jennifer, Heather, Jessica, Samantha, Cody, Christy, Amanda, and Rusty; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Jo Wood; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Tanya with Riverside Palliative Care and Danielle with Riverside Hospice for their loving and outstanding care.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, at 1:00 p.m. at Liberty Live Baptist Church, Hampton, with a reception to follow.
