Jennifer Christine Buchanan, 48, passed away on October 19, 2021. She was a native of Virginia and a resident of Newport News.

Jennifer is survived by her companion of 20 years, Damien Hagan; sons, Logan K. Buchanan and Dashton J. Hagan; mother, Deborah J. Gilliam (Cal); father, Ricky C. Buchanan; brother, Michael C. Buchanan (Jennifer); nephew, Michael J. Buchanan; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Peninsula Funeral Home. The CDC highly recommends masks for inside gatherings. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, at All Nations Church, 853 Cloverleaf Lane, Newport News. Interment will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park.
