Esperanza Ramos-Resto,71, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
She is survived by her husband, Nelson Resto.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601.

I always enjoyed walking by your home and stopping to talk with you all. Eppy was such a sunshiny lady. She was a bundle of fun to talk with. I loved seeing her smile. I will miss hearing “girrrllll…” Your family, the world and our neighborhood has lost a wonderful lady. Wishing you all peace during this difficult time. I will miss her.
I loved this cousin and although we lived in different states she and I played scrabble and other games via internet. My heart is broken and my condolences for her loving husband.
It’s so hard to learn my cousin has passed and never even knew she was sick.
