Eleanor F. Shifflett, 85, passed away at home on December 12, 2021.  She was a native of Charlottesville, Virginia and a resident of York County for 50 years. Eleanor retired from Riverside Hospital as a nurse’s aide after 25 years of service.  She was a member of Harbor Baptist Church.

Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Earl Shifflett; her brothers, Daniel, Dewey, James and Arthur Shifflett; and sisters, Blanche, Mary and Hattie.  She is survived by her sons, Steve and Gary Shifflett; and brothers, Earl and George Shifflett.

A private interment will be held at Peninsula Memorial Park at a later date.
