Butch was one of my best friend’s, I will miss him dearly. We both loved music, taking long drives thru the country and laughing. He was one funny dude. We were blessed to be Boy’s Club Boys with so many great memories. I will always have him in my mind and heart. He truly was one of a kind. See you soon brother…..love you !!!
I had the honor of being one of Butch’s dialysis nurses for over two years, and man he was such a hoot. He always made me and the girls laugh when he came in, even if he was having a bad day we would always end up chuckling about something. He had a heart of gold and always talked about how much he loved his wife, kids, and grandbabies. His face lit up like Christmas whenever he talked about them. He was resilient and always did whatever was best and treated us like we were made of gold. He will be so dearly missed, he was one of our rays of sunshine and I fear our dialysis family will be a little dimmer without him here, because over the years that’s what he became – family. May he rest in peace and be pain free.
“Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.” (John 16:22)
I always looked up to Butch – he was such a wonderful human being and friend. I wish the very best for him in Heaven and his family. God love you all!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in your time of sorrow. May your fond memories be your comfort in the days ahead until you meet again. Scott Laney and family.
