Donna Delores Hayes, a loving mother, aunt, and sister, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. She was born to the late Donald and Mildred Hull in Tucson, Arizona. Donna was a giving and caring caretaker during her career in Home Health. She loved animals, including horses. Donna enjoyed line dancing, bowling, playing pool, and playing golf. She donated her time to the VFW and American Legions. During her retirement, she began to travel and visit with family, where she enjoyed discovering new places and meeting new people.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Hull; mother, Mildred Hull; loving husband, David Hayes; sister, Rebecca Sager; and nephew, Shelton Hughes.

Donna is survived by her son, Randal Wyrick; brothers, Richard Hull and Allan Hull; and nieces and nephews, Sandy (Rocky) Johns, Jodi (John) Reinhardt, Chrissy (Brian) Linzy, Brittany Hull, Christina Mills, John Thomas Capsalis, and Sharon Brady.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at VFW Smithfield, 223 Washington Street, Smithfield, VA 23430.
