Deborah K. Varner, 50, of Hampton, passed away suddenly on November 6, 2021. A lifetime resident of Hampton, Deborah was born July 2, 1971, to Richard and Rose Connor. She attended Bethel High School and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree from Old Dominion University. After college, she attended the Apprentice School Program for Newport News Shipbuilding, and upon her graduation, she began her 24-year career.  

Deborah was a loving wife, mother, Mimi, and friend. Her smile and laugh were infectious and she touched deeply everyone she met. She enjoyed crafting, baking, and spending time with her family.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Rose Connor, and she is survived by her spouse of 27 years, Michael Varner; daughter, Aubrey Staats (Jeremey); grandson, Brayden Staats; step-mother, Barbara Connor; and all of her aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 15, 2021, at the Dock of the Bay restaurant located at 13162 Carrollton Blvd. Carrollton, VA 23314 from 6:00-9:00pm.
