Chanthoeun Sok, 70, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023.  He was a native of Cambodia and a peninsula resident for 41 years.
Chanthoeun was a mechanic and retired in 2019 from Peninsula Electric Motor after 20 years of service.

He was heavily involved in the Peninsula Cambodian community, was an avid sports enthusiast, and had played soccer.

Chanthoeun was preceded in death by his wife, Sambath T. Sok.  He is survived by three daughters, Sarany Biagas (Randy Biagas II), Theresa S. Wyatt (Herman Wyatt III), and Sophia Sok (Frank Elegar); son, Robert R. Sok (Tiffanie Marine; seven grandchildren, Santana Bartlett, Richmond Biagas, Leilani Elegar, Amalia Elegar, Iliana Elgar, Carter Chaun Sok, and Samantha Sok.  The family wants to thank Mr. and Mrs. Lalin Hang and Mr. and Mrs. Toeur Thab for their love and support during this time.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 3 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601.
