Brian J. Gaulding went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on August 19, 2021. He was born in Newport News on May 24, 1972 to E. Ray and Phyllis Gaulding. Brian attended Warwick High School and worked for his family’s business, Shawel’s TV and Appliance. His favorite pastimes included corn hole, fishing, fast cars, and the need to always be stylish. He was an organ donor so that life would continue long after his. He will truly be missed by his family and the many friends he made during his life.

Brian is preceded in death by his father, E. Ray Gaulding, Sr.; brother, Edward R. Gaulding, Jr.; and nephew, Joshua R. Gaulding. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Phyllis Gaulding; sister, Cynthia Gaulding; son, Noah Brian Gaulding; Noah’s mom, Jamie Uhlar; niece, Aimee; nephew, Jeremiah; and great-nephew, Edward Joel.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Peninsula Funeral Home, 11144 Warwick Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601. The CDC highly recommends masks for inside gatherings.
