Brett Engel
Brett Engel, 48, passed away on May 4, 2023. He was born March 16, 1975, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and was a graduate of Williamsport Area High School and Penn State University.
Brett is survived by his children, Alex (16) and Emily (14); spouse, Heather; parents, Tom and Carol Engel; brother, Brimmer (Abbi) Engel; sister, Brittnee (Morgan) Roan; and six nieces and nephews.
Brett enjoyed CrossFit and volleyball and was a fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Philadelphia Phillies. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His warmth, kindness, and infectious smile touched the lives of many.
A celebration of Brett’s life will be held at the Peninsula Funeral Home on May 15th at 4:00 p.m. A mass and burial will be held at St. Boniface Church in Williamsport, PA on May 22nd with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.

There are no words… Brett was such a great light to all that knew him. Sending support to all those impacted but especially to Heather and the kids.

Definately hits hard. Childhood friend, graduate friend, part of my family as I was part of his family growing up. Brett always treated me as an equal, helped me out with school, we were like brothers growing up. THEE nicest man you would ever meet or know. Peace be with you Brett. The memories are flooding.
John and I were saddened to hear of Brett’s passing. He was a good friend of our son Matthew Meyer. I fondly remember Brett coming to our house and a trip we took with him, Matt, and Jason back to Missouri.
