Beverly Wright Hudson, 92, of Newport News, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023.  She was a native of Newport News.  Beverly graduated from Newport News High School and was a long-time member of Hilton Baptist Church.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Joseph Glen Hudson, Jr.  She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Carnali and Kelly Hankins; two sons, Glen Hudson and Gary Hudson; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Beverly was the heart and soul of the family.  She spent her life in service of her family, her many friends, and her church community.

She was an amazing woman and will be forever missed and celebrated as she is reunited with her family in Heaven.  Even though she has passed away, she is still on the job in Heaven.

The family will receive friends at Peninsula Funeral Home on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Peninsula Memorial Park.
