Barbara Gayle Gibbs, 80, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of the Peninsula. Barbara was a member of the Baptist faith, Longaberger Basket Collections Club, Boyd Bears Collector Club, and was a quilter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, “WM” Gibbs, Sr.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Charles M. Gibbs and William M. Gibbs, JR; sisters, Kathy Beale and Caroline Moore; and nieces and nephews, Lewis J. Beale, Jr., Heidiann Beale, Suzann Taylor (Les), Angie Moore, and Norman Moore.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Peninsula Memorial Park.
